Marc Burrows
MSW, ADC-P, CPRS, Program Manager
Marc has been working in substance use treatment since 2013 and has been practicing his own recovery since 2011. He holds degrees from accredited colleges in both Human Services and Social Work. He is a Master Social Worker (MSW), a Certified Peer-Recovery Specialist (CPRS) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC), in process. In 2017, Marc is the founder of Challenges Inc; South Carolina’s first non-profit harm reduction service. His work has helped to reduce the number of overdose deaths and the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C in the Upstate and has been noted in several media outlets around the country. His passion is advocating for those without a voice and making evidence-based practices available and easily obtained to those in need.
Jennifer Miles
CAC-P, Program Director
Jennifer has a vast work experience as an executive in business and finance and holds her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. She has been managing addiction treatment centers and providing individual counseling as a Certified Addictions Counselor in process (CAC-P) since 2014. Jennifer has worked extensively to change the landscape of addiction treatment in her hometown and beyond by making services more affordable and accessible by partnering with third-party payers and health-care providers to treat the disease of addiction similar to other medical issues. She is responsible for assembling a team of treatment professionals across the Upstate with the same purpose in mind; to offer compassionate and empathetic evidence-based practices to those in need.
